I know parents get a little worried when a storm rolls through. We wonder should we cancel, will the ground be wet? Will it be muddy outside? Should we wait another day? But you know what I love? I love a session that takes place right after a Virginia summer storm rolls in. It bring the temperature back down to bearable and gives us some of the most amazing blue skys Virginia has to offer.

Sweet baby Cora’s sunset session came on the heels of one of our beautiful summer storms and I loved it. We got some of the most beautiful colors and some of the most gorgeous backgrounds. And lets be honest, some of the sweetest smiles.
