A little peek at one of the beautiful families I'v A little peek at one of the beautiful families I've had in front of my camera this fall! This season has been filled with so many sweet families, growing kiddos, updated family portraits, and plenty of moments worth remembering. One of the fun additions this fall was offering a Wednesday evening mini session. I wasn't sure how it would go, but it turned out to be such a HIT! I loved being able to offer another option for families who needed something outside of my usual schedule. I'm considering bringing back a small number of Wednesday evening minis this spring, so if that's something you'd be interested in, make sure you're on my newsletter list! Fall has been BUSY, and I mean BUSY! Between phot Fall has been BUSY, and I mean BUSY! Between photographing so many wonderful families, editing galleries, and keeping up with everything happening behind the scenes, this season has absolutely flown by. I'm spending these next 24 hours getting family galleries finished and delivered so everyone can enjoy their images (and I can relax on vacation). There is nothing better than getting a gallery into a family's hands and knowing they have these memories to look back on for years to come. I also have some fun things planned for the studio when I return. I've been working on a new series of studio sessions, and I cannot wait to share more! I originally hoped to have everything ready to launch by November 1, but this fall had other plans. I'll have all the details and booking information available by mid-November. Thank you for keeping me so busy and for trusting me with your families year after year. It really does mean so much!
A little heads up! I'm heading to London tomorrow A little heads up! I'm heading to London tomorrow and will be away for a little while. Before I go, I'm working hard to get any galleries that are due sent out so you aren't left waiting! While I'm away, please know that I will be VERY slow to respond to emails and messages. I'll be taking some time to enjoy a little time away with family, explore, and recharge, so my response time will be much slower than usual. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding! Seventeen years. How is that even possible?! This Seventeen years. How is that even possible?! This girl is a full circle moment for me and I love seeing the adult she has turned into. Getting to see her all grown up and capture these photos for her family was pretty special. And yes, it definitely makes me feel old! What a privilege it is to be part of someone's story in more than one way. ❤️
Family sessions are something I offer in very limi Family sessions are something I offer in very limited numbers each year, and there are a few reasons for that! First, I want to make sure I can get your galleries back to you in plenty of time to use for holiday cards and gifts. Second, anyone who has ever tried to get a toddler to cooperate for family photos knows that keeping those little ones happy is important! And then there is the weather. Fall evenings get COLD once that sun starts going down, and if you know me, you know my Raynaud’s does not exactly love chilly outdoor sessions! So this year, I’m planning to offer a couple of indoor family sessions, too! If you want to be the first to know when these sessions are released, comment below and I’ll send you the link to sign up for my newsletter. That’s where I’ll share the details before spots are gone! I’m excited to try something a little different this year!

That golden light was just perfect, and this sweet girl gave us so many adorable moments to capture. I love the mix of photos we got, from her twirling in the field to those sweet moments with Mom and Dad. And of course, we had to get a few with their pup too! October has definitely kept us on our toes this ye October has definitely kept us on our toes this year! Dreary days, rain, and more rescheduling than I think any of us planned for. But we made this one work, and I’m so glad we did! This family was so much fun to photograph, and I love how their gallery turned out. That sweet little smile and all the moments with Mom and Dad made for such a beautiful collection of memories. I’m already looking forward to seeing them again in the new year! ❤️
