Amir’s Cake Smash Photography Session

I have been photographing Amir (and his big sisters) for quite a few years. Both girls had newborn sessions with me, so it was only perfect when I was asked to photograph Amir for his newborn, 6 months and one-year session, rounding out our Milestone package. We have had so much fun with this boy and his moon. His mom brought his moon to each and every session we have had, documenting his growth and size compared to the moon. This session we stepped it up a notch and did a moon and star-themed cake smash to finish the year out.

Amir wasn’t feeling his photos the day of his session. Tried as we might, smiles were few and far between. But honestly, there is something pure about a serious babyface, something completely enduring. And truth be told, it’s real life, at the moment. And capturing it is always joyful.
