In recent years, we’ve started visiting the lights at the Boar's Head Inn instead—it’s local, festive, and everything is all in one place! Advent calendars are a must in our house because everyone loves the daily countdown. 🎁 We’ve also tried a few other traditions over the years (some more successful than others): The Elf on the Shelf? He’s officially retired. Let’s just say he had a habit of napping in the same spot for days. Cookie baking? Not my strength. Precise measurements and decorating aren’t my thing, and my cookies often turn out dry and overcooked.
