I don’t get to photograph fresh 48 sessions that much anymore, also known as hospital sessions. These are the sessions that happen in the hospital where you gave birth and happen within 48 hours of your little ones arrival.  But when I do get to photograph these sessions, its makes me miss being able to shoot them more often. These tender moments are so pure and special, they really are magical.

This newborn session took place at the University of Virginia’s Hospital within two days of this adorable baby girl being born. I think its so sweet how clearly this big brother is in love with his new sister. And the glow on this family’s face with the new arrival is purely priceless.
