Outdoor Newborn Session in Crozet

I really wanted to be outdoors while the weather was beautiful. I really, really wanted to photograph a newborn outdoors. I had been driving around, in what was my “new” neighborhood in Crozet, scoping out locations I thought would make for beautiful portraits. These flowers were calling me, as was the idea of a newborn in them. Phiona’s mama answered my plea. We spent a short time wandering around, photographing this beautiful girl, and becoming fast friends.

I had a lot of fun coordinating colors, embracing the sunset, and snuggling with this peanut. She was so tiny and sweet, fitting perfectly into the baskets I brought for her newborn photos.
