"My Baby Is Already Two Weeks Old. Is It Too Late? "My Baby Is Already Two Weeks Old. Is It Too Late?"

I hear this question all the time, and the answer is almost always...no!

While I love photographing babies between 7-21 days old because they're typically sleepier and curl up naturally, I've photographed babies at 4, 6, and even 8 weeks old.

Your gallery may look a little different, but beautiful? Absolutely.

If you're wondering whether it's too late, reach out. I'd much rather photograph your baby a little later than have you miss this stage completely.
The One Woman Show People are always surprised wh The One Woman Show

People are always surprised when they find out it's just...me.

When you email, you're talking to me.

When you call, I answer.

When you walk into the studio, I'm the one fluffing blankets, warming the room, soothing your baby, taking the pictures, editing every image, answering emails after dinner, packing print orders, updating my website, paying taxes, and somehow remembering to feed the dog.

There isn't a marketing department or an assistant behind the scenes.

It's just one person who loves babies and somehow turned that love into a career.

Some days it's exhausting.

Most days I can't believe I get to call this my job.
The Images You'll Treasure Most Parents often tel The Images You'll Treasure Most

Parents often tell me they're booking newborn photos for the adorable sleepy poses.

And they absolutely love those.

But months later, they usually tell me something different.

Their favorite images are the ones of tiny fingers wrapped around Mom's hand.
Dad looking down at his baby.
A quiet forehead kiss.
The whole family together for the very first time.

Those are the moments that only become more valuable with time.
Let me guess. You don't have the budget perfectly Let me guess.

You don't have the budget perfectly mapped out. You're not feeling camera-ready. Your kid is 'going through a phase' that you're pretty sure will derail the whole thing.

Okay, good. 90% of my clients come to me with some version of exactly that - and to that I say: game on.

My job is to take everything off your plate so you can show up and just be present. Wardrobe, pacing, styling, the whole experience is built around making it feel manageable. The messy details have a way of becoming the best frames in your gallery anyway.

If you've been talking yourself out of booking because you're waiting to feel ready, this is me telling you to stop waiting.
If you spent weeks in a hospital room watching mon If you spent weeks in a hospital room watching monitors instead of coming home, this is for you.

The birth that looked different than you planned. The days you didn't expect. The exhaustion that doesn't have a clean ending point.

And somewhere in all of that, the idea of newborn photos probably started to feel like something that belonged to someone else's story.

It doesn't.

You went through more to get here than most people will ever understand. These photos don't need to look like the ones you saw on Instagram before everything changed. They need to look like your story - your baby, your family, this chapter.

That's exactly what I'm here for.

If you've been quietly talking yourself out of this, reach out. Let's just talk through it first.
One moment, an empty setup. The next, the sweetest One moment, an empty setup. The next, the sweetest little heart you’ve ever seen. It’s amazing how one tiny baby can bring a vision to life. Your Only Job Is to Love Your Baby Parents always Your Only Job Is to Love Your Baby

Parents always ask me what they should be doing during the session.

Honestly?

Relax.

Watch.
Take a nap if you need one.
Enjoy a hot cup of coffee.
Look through your baby's gallery as we create it.

After weeks of sleepless nights, my goal is for the studio to feel like a peaceful place where you can simply breathe while I do the work.
One of my favorite things about this job is knowin One of my favorite things about this job is knowing these photos will mean even more years from now than they do today.

The tiny fingers won't stay tiny.
The baby curls will disappear.
The bump will become a beautiful little person.
The giggles will grow into bigger adventures.

Life has a way of changing before we even realize it's happening.

That's why I love freezing these little moments in time—so one day you can look back and remember exactly how it all felt.

What's one season of life you wish you could relive for just one more day?
