Newborn Photography Session Fresh 48

Newborn Photography Session Fresh 48

This was one of the last newborn hospital sessions I had the pleasure of photographing last year. There is something so  raw and tender and amazing about a hospital session. I am always in awe after leaving these beautiful, precious newborns who were just born. How amazing the impact of such a small being can make on our lives. From the moment we hear the first heartbeat to the moment we hear that first cry, we love them with a fierceness unlike any other love in the world.  There are no mountains we wouldn’t move for our children.

This lifestyle session took place at Martha Jefferson Hospital, in Charlottesville, with both big sister and big brother present.  We spent an hour capturing memories for his parents to treasure for a lifetime.  Looking back at the tiny details, dainty toes and sweet little lips, the belly button and feet small enough to fit in your hands. Newborns grow so incredibly fast the first year, having these portraits is like capturing precious, fleeting movements in time. I am so thankful for each newborn who has come into my life and in front of my camera. They all hold a very special place in my heart.

Welcome Baby Fresh 48_0005.jpgBecause of time restrictions with Fresh 48 sessions, Angela McNaul Photography has made the decision to no longer take on hospital photos. Hopefully in the future these are something we can add back into our newborn offerings for portraits.  For now, if you would like to see more of her recent work please view it at her facebook page : Facebook of Angela McNaul Photography She is also on Instagram and would love you to become a fan!
See more of her behind the scenes at newborn sessions, prop selections and just general fun from inside the studio walls.
