Angela McNaul Photography Cake Smash One Year Photography Session

I photographed the adorable baby Alex for her newborn session and was delighted when her mama reached out asking me to do her one-year portraits. Her sweet mama designed the entire set for a bumblebee smash and I really LOVE how it turned out! The cake looks amazing and was provided by Baked on the James.  While I personally did not get to eat any of this delicious looking cake, I will definitely be reaching out to her for some desserts in the near future. It looked that yummy.

I always try to use the start of a photography session to get simple portraits of the baby. While cake smashes are incredibly fun, it’s nice to have simple, sweet one year photos of your baby to remember, maybe without cake on their face and props stealing the show.
