It is always nerve-wracking for me when my client is another photographer! Thankfully my friend Amy was the most stress-free and laid back client, ever. She picked a location near me in our little town of Crozet. She asked for a session in Sugar Hollow, in the water. Despite the water being pretty chilly, it was a fun photography session with her family of six.

I have been shooting with the same two Nikon d700 cameras for almost 10 years and the day before this session my new D750 arrived. This was the perfect opportunity to trial run this gear and to see if it was a good fit with my photography style.  There are things I love about it and there are definitely some features I am going to have to wrap my brain around! Here’s to producing some more amazing images in 2021!
