A Beautiful Newborn Session: Welcome Tanner, Son of Sasha Tripp and Kelley Tripp
There’s something truly special about capturing the first moments of a newborn’s life. Recently, I had the distinct honor of photographing sweet baby Tanner, the son of Sasha Tripp and Kelley Tripp, two powerhouses from StoryHouse Real Estate in Charlottesville, Va. This session was an absolute joy, filled with laughter, tender moments, and, of course, the love that radiates from new parents.
A Session Full of Love and Custom Requests
From the moment Sasha and Kelley arrived at my studio, it was clear how much thought and care they had put into planning this session. Sasha had specific poses in mind that she had dreamed of, and it was such a privilege to bring her vision to life. Tanner was an absolute champ, sleeping soundly through most of the session and letting us gently position him into the sweetest poses.
Some of Sasha’s favorite setups included:
- The Cozy Nest: Tanner, nestled in a soft, neutral-toned basket with delicate knit blankets, exuding all the serenity of a newborn.
- Parent’s Embrace: A classic black-and-white image of Sasha and Kelly holding Tanner, their faces full of love and pride.

Photographing Tanner was not just about capturing his sweetness but also celebrating the incredible people his parents are. Sasha Tripp is a renowned real estate agent with StoryHouse Real Estate, known for her dedication to clients and the Charlottesville community.
Having these two creative, driven individuals in my studio was inspiring. It’s always a privilege to work with families who bring their unique personalities and stories to the session.
The Final Gallery: A Cherished Keepsake
When Sasha saw the final gallery, her reaction made my day. She loved every photo and expressed how meaningful it was to have these moments beautifully preserved. Knowing that my work brought so much joy to their family is why I do what I do. What Sasha said “Angela was fantastic! Super responsive and professional, had an amazing studio and props. We felt very catered to and taken care of and I could not be happier with our photos! She is a baby whisperer! We had about 70 photos we absolutely loved and couldn’t choose between one and the next!”
