I have definitely seen an increase in request for this heirloom style headshots of babies (and children). With the rage of the farmhouse décor and the beautiful farmhouse style prints, with wooden frames, that companies like SMALLWOODS produces, it’s no wonder I am getting more and more inquires for this portraits.
I recently had a client book me to photograph all 4 of her children, in the black and white style, so she could frame them and line her stairs.

Most clients that book this session, love using a big bow (the bigger the bow, the closer to God, or so I am told, here in the south). A simple, collared shirt or dress makes these images come to life. When photographing these littles, the goal is not for the smiling image, but more a simple, sweet up close photo of your baby’s face.
