– Welcome, I’m Angela, your photographer.

I’m a baby photographer, mom, and marathon runner with a passion for capturing life’s sweetest, most fleeting moments

Capturing the smallest Moments with Care and Expertise…

With over 15 years as a NICU nurse, I’ve spent my career caring for the tiniest, most delicate newborns—soothing, swaddling, and understanding their every need. That deep experience, combined with my training at two top newborn photography workshops in New York, gives me a unique ability to handle and photograph babies safely and beautifully.

Since launching my photography business in 2011, I’ve had the joy of capturing hundreds of babies and growing families. In 2023 and 2024, I was honored to be voted Charlottesville’s Top Newborn Photographer in the Readers’ Choice Awards. My work is also proudly displayed at Martha Jefferson Hospital, a reflection of the warmth and connection I strive to bring to every session.

From the first days of your growing belly to those irreplaceable newborn snuggles, my goal is to create images that make you feel something every time you look back. I believe photography should feel warm, cozy, and uniquely you, and I’m here to make the experience effortless, fun, and filled with memories you’ll cherish forever.

With a cozy studio, a collection of stunning props, and over 75 maternity gowns, I’m ready to bring your vision to life—whether it’s an elegant maternity session, a sweet newborn portrait, or a joyful cake smash.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me running marathons, knitting, or planning my next Disney adventure. I can’t wait to meet you and capture the moments that matter most!

Beyond the lens…

Angela on a personal Level.

Beyond the lens, there are a few passions that truly light up my world, and I hope they give you a glimpse into what inspires me every day.

I’m lucky to call Crozet home, living in Old Trail and logging most of my running miles on its beautiful trails and roads. Running has been a huge part of my life for over seven years, pushing me to chase the dream of qualifying for the Boston Marathon. In 2024, I finally achieved that goal, beating my age standard by over five minutes—only to miss the cut-off by a heartbreaking margin. While that moment stung, my love for running remains unwavering, thanks to the incredible community I’ve been privileged to be part of. Whether it’s early-morning miles in Crozet or race-day cheers, my running friends inspire me endlessly. Now, I’m deep into training for my fifth marathon attempt, holding onto the hope of crossing the finish line on Boylston Street in 2026.

Another big part of my life is Disney World, my happiest place on Earth. I just wrapped up my 21st trip, and the magic hasn’t dimmed one bit! Trips 22 and 23 are already planned for 2025 and 2026, and I can’t wait to create even more cherished memories there. From the thrill of the rides to the nostalgia of Main Street, Disney is my ultimate getaway and a source of pure joy.

And then there’s true crime—a passion I can’t seem to shake. Whether it’s bingeing podcasts, devouring books, or watching the latest documentaries, I’m fascinated by the process of piecing together mysteries and seeking justice. If I hadn’t chosen photography, I think I might have pursued a career in the criminal justice system. The love for storytelling and attention to detail that drives my photography also fuels my true crime obsession, making it an enduring part of who I am.

Being a Crozet baby photographer, I feel incredibly lucky to work so close to home, with my studio just five minutes away in Charlottesville. Whether I’m capturing the delicate details of a newborn or the joy of a cake smash session, I love creating timeless images for families in this wonderful community.

Thank you for letting me share a bit more about what makes me, me! I hope it helps you feel a deeper connection as we work together to capture your family’s most special moments.

XOXO – Angela

In photography, it’s not about how quickly you capture a moment, but how deeply it resonates

“It’s not about running fast; it’s about running strong.”

Photography, like running, is about embracing challenges to create something extraordinary
