We just found out that I am expecting a new niece or nephew in the family, so what better way to shout it then maternity photography! My sister and her husband met me in Nellysford for a quick photoshoot to do a social media announcement of the pregnancy to our family and their friends. This is the first new baby for my husband and I in over 20 years (other than our own).

Natalie is wearing our maternity wardrobe from the studio in this session. She borrowed one of my Baltic born dresses and a super chunky cardigan sweater I bought for some texture. I also brought along my black hat from the studio and think it really adds another element to the images. Often when mama’s are not quite showing for their photos it is important to have other aspects to fall back on during the session.
